Religious School
B'nai Israel's religous school provides an exciting curriculum emphasizing
Jewish values, knowledge of Torah and Hebrew, and an understanding of Judaism's history and its contemporary meaning.
From Early Childhood Education programming through Grade 7, our
Congregation's young people have the opportunity to learn Jewish traditions, values and history within a fun and exciting educational atmosphere.
Students in grades 8 - 12 participate in Yachad, Sacramento's Jewish Community High School. However, our 10th Graders still participte in Confirmation ceremonies at B'nai Israel, during the Shavuot celebration.
We Designed Art Stamps
Ben Wong, a CBI 7th grader, designed his own postage stamp as part of our religious school fall fundraiser, and his stamp was selected to be on display online during the month of May, along with a number of others from around the US.
You can check out Ben's art stamp at myartstamps.com. Click on "Collectibles" and then search for Ben's stamp---it's the only Jewish stamp on the page. Vote for his stamp, an you could help Ben win a financial award. Also, if you order Ben's stamp design, 20% of the purchase will come back to the CBI Religious School.
