Congregation B'nai Israel

Religious School

B'nai Israel's religious school provides an exciting curriculum emphasizing Jewish values, knowledge of Torah and Hebrew, and an understanding of Judaism's history and its contemporary meaning.

From Early Childhood Education programming through Grade 7, our Congregation's young people have the opportunity to learn Jewish traditions, values and history within a fun and exciting educational atmosphere.

Students in grades 8 - 12 participate in Yachad, Sacramento's Jewish Community High School. However, our 10th Graders still participate in Confirmation ceremonies at B'nai Israel, during the Shavuot celebration. For information about Yachad, click here.
Students in Grades 8 - 12 have an opportunity to help in our classrooms as Madrichim & Ozrim.

For information about our Religious School contact our Director of Lifelong Jewish Learning, Rabbi Shoshanah King-Tornberg.
