 Religious SchoolB'nai Israel's religious school provides an exciting curriculum emphasizing Jewish values, knowledge of Torah and Hebrew, and an understanding of Judaism's history and its contemporary meaning. From Early Childhood Education programming through Grade 7, our Congregation's young people have the opportunity to learn Jewish traditions, values and history within a fun and exciting educational atmosphere. Students in grades 8 - 12 participate in Kesher, B'nai Israel's High School program. However, our 10th Graders still participate in Confirmation ceremonies at B'nai Israel during the Shavuot celebration. Additionally, students in Grades 8 - 12 have an opportunity to help in our classrooms as Madrichim and Ozrim. Click here for the Madrichim information letter and here for the Madrichim application. Young people in the 4th grade and older enrolled in Religious School or whose family are members of Congregation B’nai Israel are eligible for Ensemble Katan, B'nai Israel's youth choir.
