The springtime festival of Purim is great fun at CBI.


Mar 9 . . . The Purim Carnival is Before Purim
The always fabulous carnival begins at Noon for everyone. However, those in First Grade and younger will be released from Religious School classes at Noon to get an early start at the carnival. Other Religious School students will be
able to go to the carnival immediately following classes.. 
But the carnival, which is sponsored for CBI by the
B’nai Israel Senior Youth (BISY), is not just for kids.

Mar 20              Purim Pasta Dinner
Support the CBI Confirmation Class, while you enjoy a family pasta dinner on Thursday, Mar 20th, @ 6pm in the social Hall.  You won’t want to miss it.  This event requires an RSVP, but you can still make your reservation if you call the temple office not later than Thursday noon.  The cost is only $12 for adults and $9 for kids under age 13.  It will be a great dinner, and you’ll have the best seats for the megillah reading and PurimSpiel which follow at 7pm.  For more information, call Lynn Katz @ 736-2082. 


Mar 20              Megillah Reading & PurimSpiel
Following the Purim Pasta dinner, you will have an opportunity to perform the mitzvah of listening to the reading of the Megillah.  Afterwards, we’ll go right into an original stage production, written and choreographed by our own Steve Marhsall.  Don’t miss this fabulous evening of fun.


Passover begins on April 19th.
